Deliver GoDrive in your setting.

If you’re an educator of young people, GoDrive provides you with an easy way to deliver high-quality road safety education in-setting. Here’s some information to help get you started. When you’re ready to deliver your first session, simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page to get a link to the most up to date version of GoDrive.

Quick Start Guide

When and where?

There’s no bad answers here! Deliver GoDrive in a tutorial, PSHE lesson, small assembly, detention - we don’t care.

The most important thing is that your young people get access to it.

Who and how many?

Because of the nature of the interactive tasks we suggest a maximum group size of 50. They should be sat so they can easily move their chairs

As for who - we suggest 16-18 year olds for maximum impact.

Do I have to do anything?

We know a long video can be hard going, so we’ve broken it up with four short interactive sessions.

You’ll find tips on how to facilitate these sessions in the PDF notes below.

How long?

The video lasts around 50 minutes and has been designed so you don’t have to pause it during the facilitated tasks.

So we suggest allowing a full one hour session.

What do I need?

A big screen with sound to show the film, something to write on where everyone can see and some young people.

The group will need their phones to complete registration.

Facilitator Notes.

Research shows that peer discussion and postively framed road safety education can have a huge impact on young people. We know educators are busy, so we’ve put together a short document outlining best practice for delivering GoDrive. Flick through below and download the PDF when you register your session.

Register your session.

To make sure you’re delivering the most up-to-date version of GoDrive, with the latest facilitator notes, we ask all settings to register their sessions using the form below. Even if you’re planning to deliver multiple sessions, we’d really appreciate it if you’d complete this information for each one as it’ll help us with our evaluation and make GoDrive as good as it possibly can be!
